Shelf Tool
Use for
- Shelves for holding books or small objects.
- Background element that provides visual interest; e.g. box shelves.
Overview
A handy tool that generates 'floating' style shelves for your interior visualisations. This tool provides various preset shelf shapes (e.g. straight, L-shaped and box), as well as, various cloning options for creating visually pleasing shelf arrangements using proportional scaling.
UVs and polygon-part names are auto-generated, however, ‘pack and paint’ is left to the artist
Workflow
To use this tool,

Clone: Count
Sets the number of clones. Minimum is 1 and maximum is 7.
Clone: Scale
Sets the dimension/s along which scaling will occur.
Clone: Scale Factor 1/
Sets the scaling factor that's applied to each succesive shelf. Setting this value to 1 will disable scaling.
Clone: Direction
Direction in which cloning occurs; e.g. You may choose to clone along the vertical or horizontal axis.
Clone: Position Offset
Adds an additon position offset. Increasing this value will move the shelves further apart along the chosen Clone Direction.
Clone: Align
Sets the alignment of the shelves with respect of the horizontal or vertical axis; e.g. for vertically-cloned shelves this is equivalent to justification.
